Bengkung Belly Binding is the art of wrapping the women’s belly and hips postpartum to hasten postpartum recovery. Bengkung belly binding uses a long cotton fabric to wrap the women abdomen from the hips to the rib cage. Women can get the best benefit from belly binding if starts as soon as possible after birth, usually starting at day 5 and throughout the next 40 days. The Bengkung belly binding is rooted in Malaysian culture but have spread out through many countries.
